Power Up Your Planning: The newest Remix features you need to know this June.

Dive into the new features Remix has released since our last showcase. There’s custom stats, on-demand planning, GTFS-fares, and much more.

Remix v1 (3)-1

We've had our heads down building—while noting your most popular feature requests.

This update reflects three themes you’ve asked us to go deeper on. First up, by popular demand, is stop management. Next: even more GTFS support, including full fares and expanded pickup/dropoff options. And finally: data. We’ve made it easier to work with your own custom data, from building stats to exporting just what you need.

Let’s take a closer look.

A quick note: we shared all of these features in action during our live Product Updates webinar. Missed it and want to make sure you’re in the know next time? Sign up for our newsletter

Theme 1: stop management.

Add custom stops in Network Places.

networkplacesgaAs you may know, end-to-end stop management is live in Remix Network Places–and now includes custom stops. Analyze stop demographics and quickly improve stop fields for an accurate Google-ready GTFS. Other powerful Network Places capabilities include:

  • Unified Network View: View all stops, garages, and parent stations in one consolidated map section.
  • Bulk Management Tools: Easily edit multiple fields, or delete places in bulk. Hint: use the map view to  bulk select (then edit or delete) places.
  • Advanced Filtering Options: Want to better understand your network? Filter by specific properties, like in-service vs unused stops to quickly narrow in on the place type you want to learn about.

Theme 2: GTFS and fares.

New with GTFS: fields and fare management.

GTFS Fares (1)Import all of your fare information, assign rules and stops—then share to Google Maps, Citymapper, and more. Riders get clear fare info, and you save time syncing data. Oh, and edit and export even more GTFS fields:

  • Route description: Information about a route
  • Route URL: Public URL for your route
  • Continuous Pick Up: Allows you to let riders get on the bus at any point along the route
  • Continuous Drop Off: Allows you to let riders get off the bus at any point along the route
  • Trip short name: Free text field in the timetable to identify a trip

Theme 3: data and accuracy.

Create and use custom geostats—on your own time.

Self-serve Geo Stats (4)No need to wait, custom stats are now self-serve! You can finally build your own geospatial stats and manage custom stats easily right in Remix. Unlock the ability to spin up and see custom data sets much more quickly.

  1. Build your own stats from the new Statistics tab
  2. Use them instantly in Jane, Network Jane, and project estimates

More accurate, granular on-demand planning.

Flexible day types (2)

Need different service hours on weekdays vs. weekends? You can now set daily on-demand schedules to match how your riders actually travel. This increased granularity powers more accurate cost projections.

Plus, skip the file-splitting. We updated how you do On-demand zone imports so you can easily update geometry of existing on-demand zones. The updated Import Modal lets you select only relevant zones from any file and replace multiple zones at once for faster, cleaner uploads every time.

Expanded exports and new headsign capabilities bring your plans closer to reality.

Expanded exports (2)

Export Bid sheets and Relief vehicle paddles directly from Remix. Plus, track headsign codes right in Remix—keeping operations info in one place. You can edit driver paddles and add mid-trip headsign changes to better reflect service, helping drivers stay on track with clear paddle cues for headsign swaps.
