CNH Industrial launches MYshuttle!, a new "on demand" employee transit service

August 31, 2021 (Turin, Italy) — In order to continue to pursue its sustainable mobility objectives, and to respond to the changing needs of employees regarding "home-work" travel, CNH Industrial will make MYshuttle! available to employees of the North Torino District (Via Puglia/Lungo Stura Lazio) beginning September 1. MYshuttle!, an innovative, “on demand” corporate mobility service, will complement public transport in Turin.

In just a few simple steps in the MYshuttle! mobile app, employees of the District will be able to reach the workplace in a new way, booking a ride when and where they need it. The service will connect the main public transport terminals (intermodal exchanges) with all the entrances of the CNH Industrial site. The service will be operated during the busiest travel times, both in the morning and in the evening. It will be free and delivered with two new Iveco Daily natural gas mini-buses with 22 seats for low environmental impact.

MYshuttle! is powered by technology from Via, the leader in TransitTech. Via’s highly-efficient proprietary technology pools multiple passengers headed in a similar direction into a single vehicle, further reducing the environmental impact of the service. Via has more than 500 partners around the globe, including municipalities, public transport agencies, companies, and school districts, and the company’s partnership with CNH Industrial is its first in Italy.

The service will be operated by Bus Company Srl, one of the most important people transport companies in Piedmont, operating both in local public transport and in bus rental in the provinces of Cuneo and Turin and which boasts a consolidated partnership with CNH Industrial.

Kristof Breyne, HR Business Partner for CNH Industrial’s Agriculture Segment, declared: “MYshuttle! represents a very important solution and service for our business community. Once again, our company confirms its continuous attention to people and the environment, pursuing the path of sustainable and innovative mobility. With MYshuttle! we are able to accompany employees to work by offering an integrated service in the city system, highly customizable and safe.”

Daniela Ropolo, the Head of Sustainable Development Initiatives at CNH Industrial, said: “CNH Industrial has always been one of the largest international players in the transportation field, and MYshuttle! concretely interprets the “Smart Mobility” concept and its connection with sustainable mobility, technology and innovation, all the factors that are integrated in tomorrow’s mobility. MYshuttle! It makes intermodality easier, fits into the company’s “Home-Work Mobility Plan” and is a perfect example of intergenerationality.”

Enrico Galleano, CEO of Bus Company, declared: “Innovative solutions serving sustainable mobility are a core idea in our Group. We are proud of putting it into practice in this important initiative, in synergy with such a high profile and prestigious partner as CNH Industrial, which I would also define as the ideal partner for avant-garde solutions. Our wish is that the service presented today will be a first step towards continuity and future developments.”

Chris Snyder, CEO of Via Europe, said: “Via’s mission is to build equitable, flexible, and accessible transportation systems around the world, and we are proud to introduce our first service in Italy in partnership with CNH Industrial. MyShuttle! will enhance the daily commuter experience for CNH employees in Turin, while also strengthening public transport access through seamless first-and-last mile transit connections. We look forward to working with CNH to demonstrate how tech-enabled employee transit can be a solution for other companies across Italy.”
