- On-demand service timeliness reporting improvements:
In November 2024 we added more flexibility for Via’s algorithm to take advantage of real time conditions like cancellations. This gives riders faster pick-ups and helps boost productivity of your entire on-demand service (review the details here).
Now, we are improving timeliness reporting for on-demand rides so you can capture this new flexibility with increased accuracy. What's changed? You will now use “ETA Deviation” instead of "On-time performance" to review timeliness of your on-demand rides. We’ve made improvements to this metric so it's the most accurate measure of on-demand timeliness!

- Travel reason labeling enhancement:
We've aligned travel reason data values found in Looker, DDA, Data Generator, and Ride Requests Tables to the travel reason values that appear in the VOC and rider app when you book a ride. If your service has travel reasons and you would like to see the new fields, submit a support ticket or reach out to your Partner Success Manager.
