Overlapping service calendars
Remix's Calendar allows you to visualize and schedule your services to dates on a calendar. You can create "service periods" which allow you to reflect adjustments in service levels throughout the year, including seasonal service, disruptions, and special events.
Now Remix’s Calendar supports Overlapping Services, meaning you can run more than one service period concurrently. This is especially useful for agencies that:
- Run recurring supplementary service in addition to base service.
- Have subnetworks that run on different schedules throughout the year.
- Plan and schedule based on different garages.

Populating your timetable with accurate runtimes in Remix is more straightforward, transparent, and accurate than ever.
For any new segments you draw in Remix, we will identify all routes that share that corridor in your latest GTFS at the same hour of the day and automatically populate the timetable with that runtime.
