You asked for it, we built it!
These updates reflect three capabilities our agency partners have asked for us to focus on. The first theme is moving riders seamlessly through your network with enhanced GTFS tools. Next, planning for and scheduling connected, multimodal service. And finally, making your scheduling workflows more efficient in clicks.
A quick note: we shared all of these features in action during our live Product Updates webinar. Missed it and want to make sure you’re in the know next time? Sign up for our newsletter.
Build cleaner feeds, add richer attributes, and visualize your system the way you operate it.
For anyone planning in a multi-agency environment, this one’s for you. A new “Display by Agency” option lets you instantly toggle between views—so you can plan and communicate network-wide coverage and gaps more easily.
Whether you need to flag routes as local or regional, express or select, or categorize routes by fare type, our new custom route attributes let you do it all. These attributes are editable directly in the interface and are included in your GTFS exports—keeping planning and publishing tightly aligned.
You can now explicitly set dwell times at individual stops. Remix displays arrival and departure times—and updates downstream trips accordingly. This is a major upgrade for anyone managing timed connections or modeling real-world operational behavior.
Add map annotations like arrows, construction cones, or bus stop icons using our new Stickers feature—perfect for highlighting detours, service changes, or key destinations in Presentation Studio. Want more sticker options? Let us know what you'd like to see—we’re listening.
Whether you’re coordinating fixed-route, microtransit, or paratransit, Remix helps you plan and schedule from end-to-end.
A new ridership data layer helps you analyze origin-destination patterns in demand-response zones using near real-time data. Filter by time of day, day of week, and see peak flows at a glance. This makes it easier to understand real rider movement and shift service hours, redesign zones, or add supply where it’s needed most.
Working with your teammates? See what they're working on in real time with live cursor tracking and multi-user editing. This continues to be one of our most loved features—especially when planning multimodal service across teams.
No more workarounds. You can now plan driver shifts for demand-responsive services directly within Remix Scheduling. View on-demand and fixed-route shifts side-by-side to build a unified driver schedule—and reduce costly gaps or overages.
Reduce manual work, and build accurate schedules faster—no matter the service type.
Remix now identifies opportunities to pool driver relief trips based on location, time, and vehicle capacity. Just toggle it on to see instant reductions in vehicle hours, fuel costs, and post-processing edits. It even updates driver paddles automatically. Want to read more about it? Check it out.
Add time bands for training, standby shifts, and other non-driving duties. These show up directly in your runcuts—giving you more accurate labor cost estimates and avoiding mid-week spreadsheet updates.
These new features are live—or coming soon—and we can’t wait to see how you use them. As always, we build Remix with your feedback, so let us know what you want to see next.
