A few small town routes were recently converted from fixed route to on-demand using this process. “The people who use On-demand Planning are super happy with it because they save a lot of time... When a city near Milan requested moving a bus terminus to the main train station, Autoguidovie used Remix to model the change, adjust frequencies, and ensure a smooth rider experience.

The team imported GTFS for metro and rail, then used Timed Connections to sync bus departures with train arrivals—seamlessly linking modes.
