Realistic walking limits for Jane

We’ve heard your feedback and are excited to release an important improvement to Jane. Jane’s walking time will now be limited to a maximum of 15 minutes to or from a bus stop when a transit line is enabled on your map. In general, a rider is not expected to walk more than 15 minutes on any leg of their trip, so the results of this update will produce more realistic isochrones.

Timed Connections

In case you missed it. Edit, visualize, and analyze connections between routes in your system or region! This first-of-its-kind feature makes it easier than ever to ensure riders make their transfers. Use Timed Connections for: 

• Bus to Rail: Feeding into your region's rail network? See how your routes connect with your agency or another agency's train routes so your riders don’t miss their transfer.
• Bus to Bus: Have infrequent routes where riders depend on a transfer? Make sure riders don’t have to wait too long for their critical connections. 
• Checking headways at a specific stop: Need to create balanced headways along a shared corridor? Add lines that meet at a specific stop, and see how headways line up throughout the day.
