St. Louis Metro: The Midwest's leader in equitable transit.

Since first launching four years ago, St. Louis Metro's microtransit service has transformed access to equitable and affordable transportation. The service extends the reach of the fixed route network, greatly increasing access to essential destinations, and unlocking work and education opportunities across the city.

Driven by its popularity, the service has continued to expand, growing from two zones to three, and increased hours to better meet demand. As of November 2023, Via Metro STL successfully served over 400k rides.

“[The service] is reliable and gets me to transfer points where some buses I have to wait for an hour. There isn't a bunch of stopping; the route is direct — it just makes things more convenient.”
